Ch 104: E-Sport’s Group Pampered Omega

Chapter 104

Debon buzzed in place for quite a while. Xia Tong thought it had malfunctioned again, but Lin Mingfei wasn’t surprised at all. If he guessed right, this sentient monster of a robot was building up anger.

“Alpha, dog. Alpha, dog,” Debon muttered incoherently.

Even its word order was reversed now that its body was assembled backwards. After being bullied by this artificial idiot so many times, Lin Mingfei finally got his revenge and felt refreshed. He rolled off the bed, pressed Xia Tong’s head firmly, and said with satisfaction, “Anyway, I fixed Debon. He works fine like this. I’m exhausted—I’m going back to sleep. We’ll talk tomorrow.”

Let the idiot robot stay like that for one night.

The little Omega felt sorry for both Debon and Lin Mingfei. In the end, he made his choice and clung to Lin Mingfei.

“Then go get some sleep, big brother… make sure you rest well. Thank you so much for today.” He hugged Lin Mingfei’s waist and rubbed against his broad back like a puppy. “Good night—I like you the most!”

It felt as if fireworks exploded in Lin Mingfei’s chest—bright and dazzling.

He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, his lips curling uncontrollably into a grin as he walked out of Xia Tong’s bedroom with stiff steps.

The whole night had been exhausting. He was truly tired—he fell asleep the moment his head hit the pillow. The first half of the night was peaceful, but in the latter half, he began to dream—a very strange dream.

In the dream, he married Xia Xiaotong. He was wearing a custom high-end suit personally selected under Shi Ya’s supervision, standing in a solemn yet dazzling cathedral. Bright beams of light shone straight down from above, while flower petals and feathers drifted through the air.

Rows of flower-decorated arches stretched all the way to the cathedral doors. The seating on both sides was filled with guests, all applauding and eagerly waiting.

Lin Mingfei knew he was anxiously waiting for something, his heart surging with excitement. After what felt like a long time, the cheers and blessings echoed in his ears—and finally, the person he had been longing for appeared at the entrance.

But there were two figures.

Right—one was Xia Xiaotong, the Omega he loved to his very core. The other must be an elder, escorting Xia Xiaotong, taking his arm and placing his hand into Lin Mingfei’s—symbolizing that Xia Xiaotong was about to begin a new chapter of life, with Lin Mingfei, the Alpha, as his protector.

What an exhilarating ceremony this would be!!

Lin Mingfei’s heart pounded wildly.

The figures drew closer. Against the light, he gradually saw them clearly.

The petite Omega boy wore a pure white wedding dress, shimmering with crystal-like sequins, like an angel descended to earth. A faint blush colored his delicate face, like a ripe, tempting apple.

Lin Mingfei excitedly reached out his hand—then saw the one holding Xia Tong’s arm.

Wait… why is that guy so round??

As they passed through a flower arch, the figure’s pink, round head finally came into view—a giant, life-sized Debon stuffed into an oversized black suit, its round hands resting on Xia Tong. The LED light on its forehead blinked brightly.

Lin Mingfei’s sanity dropped to zero.

Then Debon spoke, like a broken record:

“Alpha, dog. Alpha, dog.”
“Alpha, dog. Alpha, dog.”
“Alpha, dog. Alpha, dog.”

Amid this endless noise, Lin Mingfei jolted awake.

He shot upright from the pillow, staring blankly at the blanket. Noon sunlight streamed through the curtains, leaving golden streaks across the bed.

“Ah… so it was a dream,” he muttered, still shaken, running a hand through his messy black hair.

What the hell—how did Debon end up like Xia Tong’s father figure? Was he crazy, or was the world crazy?

…And that image—Debon in a suit standing next to Xia Xiaotong in a wedding dress—was seriously disturbing!!

His head still fuzzy, Lin Mingfei threw off the covers and went to wash up.

As he brushed his teeth, he stared at himself in the mirror—then suddenly froze.

Wait… why was it a wedding dress?

At 12:30 noon, the mentally frazzled “God Z” finally drifted out of his room.

“Morning, Zero!” Xia Tong was already in the living room, holding a comic book he’d somehow found. The upside-down little robot sat obediently beside him, occasionally helping him look up rare words, its LED blinking at the bottom.

“Morning…” Lin Mingfei hesitated as he came downstairs, his gaze fixed on Debon. “This artificial intelli—gence… is it okay?”

“It’s fine!” Xia Tong said. “Debon, come say hi to Zero!”

Debon’s little wheels turned, and its upside-down LED “eyes” blinked at Lin Mingfei. “Good afternoon.”

Lin Mingfei: “…”

What the hell—this artificial idiot has already adapted to being upside down?? That flexible??

A chill crept up his spine. Suddenly, all those articles about “AI ruling humanity in the future” didn’t seem so far-fetched… Combined with last night’s dream, Lin Mingfei had every reason to believe Debon was biding its time—pretending to be obedient, waiting for the right moment to smash his head in.

“Is it… really okay?” the Alpha asked in a low voice, his throat tight.

“It really is!” Xia Tong said, puzzled. “He chats with me, helps me look things up, and can run around. Thanks to you, big brother!”

Debon: “Arigatou.”

Lin Mingfei: “……”

That sarcastic “thank you” was the final straw.

With a blank expression, Lin Mingfei walked over, picked up the little robot, and set it on his lap.

“Huh? Big brother, what are you doing?” Xia Tong asked, confused.

“I’d better reassemble it,” Lin Mingfei said stiffly. “This head-not-head, butt-not-butt situation is really bothering me.”

“Oh, no need! It’s already fine like this!”

“No, this is Debon—the AI that’s been with you since childhood. I need to show it basic respect,” Lin Mingfei said, lowering his head.

Xia Tong blinked, half-understanding, then tilted his head and gently leaned against Lin Mingfei’s shoulder. “Big brother, you’re really kind.”

Lin Mingfei kept his head down, fingers moving quickly as he took apart and reassembled Debon’s parts. When the soft Omega suddenly leaned on him, his body stiffened slightly, and his ears turned red.

“Am I?” he asked in a low voice.

“You are,” Xia Tong said sincerely. “Big brother, I’ll tell you a little secret too.”

“Hm? What?” Lin Mingfei’s heart skipped a beat, his voice growing softer.

“I had a dream last night.” Xia Tong lifted his gaze from the comic, looking ahead quietly. “I dreamed… that I married you.”

Lin Mingfei froze abruptly, as if a high-voltage current had shot through his body. The screw at his fingertips slipped from his grasp and fell.

“Do you… know what marriage means?” he asked hesitantly.

“I do! Isn’t it this?” Xia Tong lifted the comic book in his hand.

On the page he’d opened, two boys in matching tailcoats stood in front of a pointed cathedral. Beneath a sky full of white doves in flight, they held hands, foreheads touching, making solemn wishes to each other—beautiful and dreamlike.

“Isn’t this marriage?” Xia Tong said.

“…That is marriage.” Lin Mingfei couldn’t argue.

“Doesn’t getting married mean you can stay together forever and never have to be apart again?” Xia Tong said expectantly. “In my dream, Uncle Gu was there too. He watched us get married. I was really happy.”

Lin Mingfei fell into a long silence. Without a doubt, Xia Tong had delivered another huge emotional shock.

What kind of pure, untainted soul could say something so sincere?

“Uncle Gu even told me to take good care of you!” Xia Tong added, patting his chest. “And I promised him!”

Lin Mingfei snapped out of that soft, sweet haze.“Huh? He told you to take care of me??” His expression cracked. “In your dream… who exactly is marrying whom?”
