Ch 65: E-Sport’s Group Pampered Omega

Chapter 65

Before joining Team P, Xia Tong rarely received praise from others. The Zheng Linchuan family never treated him as an equal. A kind look from them was as rare as the sun rising in the west.

After entering Team P, his living environment drastically improved. Everyone treated him kindly—but Lin Mingfei was reserved, Shi Ya was gentle and modest, Bo Yu rarely spoke, and Zhou Yanjun barely said anything human at all.

So Xia Tong was not used to such direct and intense affection—and he wasn’t good at handling it.

That’s why, when a bunch of players suddenly flooded him with love confessions, his first instinct was panic. He had no idea how to respond or reciprocate such passionate enthusiasm. The more people liked him, the more he felt like he owed them something—something he couldn’t repay.

All this for just winning one match…

It didn’t feel like he truly deserved so much love.

Sitting in the cocoon pod, Xia Tong stared at his fingers in a daze. After a long hesitation, he uneasily logged back into the game—only to be bombarded again the moment he got in, as if a crowd had been waiting to ambush him. Private messages and friend requests “ding ding dong dong” popped up nonstop.

Eyes swimming and completely flustered, Xia Tong tactically logged off again. After a few minutes, he built up the courage to try once more… only to get overwhelmed and log off again.

He repeated this cycle several times like a total fool—until he finally gave up altogether.

Offline, he sat shivering, hands and feet numb—completely unaware that his silly up-and-down behavior had been fully observed by new fans monitoring his account.

A very timely forum thread appeared and was quickly pushed to the top:

[I’ll bet you anything—blink is the first pro player in history to be too scared of fans to log into the game!]

Original post:

blink’s Little Tail:

Thanks for the invite. I’m a four-year Team P group fan, and as of today, I’ve officially become a mom-fan of blink.

Here’s a detailed intro to my precious boy!

polaris_blink, real name Xia Tong, newly recruited this year by Team P. Class: Wizard. Primary gender: Male. Secondary gender: Omega.

Height: 165 cm. Weight: 52 kg. Angel face, hobbit height, devil-tier DPS. Expected to be this season’s biggest dark horse and breakout star! Might even pioneer omegas in holo-esports!

I was lucky enough to be among the first batch of friend list entries after blink’s accidental clicks while panicking.

I personally witnessed, at 2:26 PM King’s Tomb time, after someone named Wild Sweet O (possibly a gal-pal or maybe a bro disguised as one), blasted blink with an Aegean Sea fireworks package—blink immediately logged off!

Replies multiplied in real-time, every one of them chaotic and unified in tone: endless laughing.

[Are you sure he logged off and wasn’t just scared offline?]

[HAHAHAHA this description is killing me!]

[I saw it too! Real-time proof! One moment a huge confession pops up on World Chat, the next second—blink goes offline. Pure panic flee!]

[Can you wild King’s Tombers have some humanity? Having monkey babies?? Stop forcing the poor omega!!]

[blink barely escaped a pack of vicious Russian alpha opponents, and now you all want to traumatize his fragile little heart??]

[Reflect on yourselves! If you were blink and got this barrage of confessions—would you be laughing? Well, I am—GOOSE GOOSE GOOSE!]

[Don’t ask. If you ask, it’s just goose goose goose goose!!]

[Am I the only one who saw blink logging in and out over and over?]

[Nope! Saw it too! Total “up up down down left right left right B A B A” kind of panic!!]

[Unless Manager He of Polaris comes out and says their base’s internet got dug up by a construction crew, I’m gonna keep goose-goosing!!]

[Seriously though, what unhinged things did you say to scare the poor kid this bad?? Show some pity, please!]

[Damn, I can already imagine my precious baby’s adorable face turning all red and flustered!! I’m bleeding from the cuteness, okay!!!]

[Exactly, exactly! That little cloak blink wears is super cute!! Say no more—I’m off to farm Siren Valley! I want to wear matching outfits with my baby!! Mother-son style!!]

[I’m not like the rest of you. You all just want to be blink’s mom! But I want to sleep with blink! Sweetie Tóng, look at me!! Big sis has E-cups just for you to snuggle in!! They’re real!! Not silicone!! Not silicone!!]

[Yo, Alpha-sis upstairs, tone it down a bit! Or the post’s gonna get taken down!!]

[After reading that, I finally understand why my baby’s too scared to log into the game. It’s honestly tragic—hahahahaha!]

Xia Tong had no idea about this bloodbath unfolding online. His brain felt like it was stuffed with fluffy cotton, and a gust of wind could send his thoughts flying in all directions. His emotions were in total disarray. Just then, the training room door opened and Bo Yu walked in while slipping on a light athletic jacket.

Xia Tong looked up and stared at him, completely fixated.

Unlike the other three members, Bo Yu wasn’t a sly troublemaker. He walked all the way up to Xia Tong’s “Cocoon” before noticing the unusually intense death glare directed at him. He turned his head in confusion and asked, “Xia Tong, didn’t you log in early? Why are you just sitting there spacing out?”

Xia Tong wrung his hands, struggling to explain: “Uhhhh…”

Bo Yu looked at his awkward and conflicted expression and tried to guess: “Timer and Fire went for a nap. Captain and Manager He went out for some errands. As for me… I just wanted to log in and clear a dungeon cooldown.”

Xia Tong was stunned. “Oh… I-I-I wasn’t trying to ask that.”

Bo Yu: “.”

Another round of awkward, clueless silence between the two.

Xia Tong swallowed hard. Still feeling stifled, he hesitantly said, “Bo Yu… I want to ask you something.”

Bo Yu rolled up his sleeves, revealing toned forearms, and pressed the open button on his pod. As the hatch slowly lifted, he didn’t enter right away. Instead, he met Xia Tong’s gaze seriously, eyes bright: “Sure, go ahead.”

Xia Tong: “Has anyone… ever said they want to have your monkey babies?”

Bo Yu replied instantly: “No.”

Xia Tong was suspicious: “Really?”

Bo Yu nodded with conviction: “I’m not dating anyone. I’m still single. My short-term goal is to win the championship.”

Xia Tong: “…?”

They stared at each other with the utmost seriousness, having a silent exchange in the air. After a moment, Xia Tong awkwardly tried to salvage the dead conversation: “I mean… if—if someone did say they wanted to have your monkey babies, what would you—”

At that point, Bo Yu practically had the words “righteous and unyielding” written all over his face.

“No way!” he answered firmly. “My grandpa always said, if you haven’t met each other’s parents, and haven’t sworn before the Kitchen God, then you can’t casually make promises to someone—much less let someone have your monkey babies… meaning kids! That’s inhuman behavior! For my grandpa’s sake! And to be a good, pure alpha, I absolutely won’t let that happen!”

Xia Tong trembled under Bo Yu’s solemn and morally upright declaration. “Then I—am I the inhuman one…?” he muttered, scratching his head in confusion, feeling even more guilty toward his fans. “But I didn’t even do anything…”

“Someone said they wanted to have monkey babies with you?” Bo Yu seemed to snap out of his own righteous thoughts and tried to catch up to Xia Tong’s brainwaves: “Who?”

“I don’t know either. It was in the game,” Xia Tong mumbled.

“Oh, you meant in the game.” Bo Yu had an epiphany. “That kind of thing gets shouted all the time.”

Xia Tong: “…”

So they weren’t even on the same wavelength the entire time. No wonder it felt like a chicken talking to a duck.

“In games, people are just being dramatic for fun,” Bo Yu said nonchalantly. “Zero and Timer get those kinds of messages even more.”

“Then how… how do you all usually respond?” Xia Tong asked quietly. “It always feels like…”

Like no response can truly match the intensity of that affection.

“You don’t respond at all,” Bo Yu said. “Just turn off friend requests.”

Xia Tong blinked: “Huh?”

Bo Yu explained: “Otherwise your 200 friend slots fill up in no time. You won’t even be able to add your own teammates. It’s better to shut it off early.”

Xia Tong was stunned: “You can… really do that?”

Bo Yu countered: “Why not?”

Xia Tong hesitated: “Won’t it make them feel sad?”

Bo Yu shook his head: “I don’t know about the rest, but I do know that if you lose a match, they’ll be more upset than anyone. So anything that distracts from your training or interferes with matches shouldn’t exist.”

Xia Tong fell silent, deep in thought.

So in complicated relationships, you have to make choices…

“I think normal fans will understand,” Bo Yu said as he climbed into his pod and tilted his head at Xia Tong. “If they don’t and still get mad…”

“Then what?” Xia Tong asked.

Bo Yu thought for a second: “Then in Captain’s words… just let ‘em be mad to death.”

Xia Tong: “…”
